Sunset On the Island Downeast

It has been a month since I had enough peace and quiet in my everyday life to sit and channel.  Mostly I’ve been looking within for brief re-centering,  bursts of strength, energetic hugs, or guidance for a loved one… it has been a very busy time in my ministry, with an unusual number of funerals to do. Some may shie from such work, but truly I love it.  It is an honor to be with a family who are grieving, because of the depth of love present. Helping them to celebrate their love for the one who “transitioned” with a service of memories, stories, music, poetry and prayers is a passion for me. I am deeply glad that I can stand, steady in my faith in the goodness and wisdom of the Universe, and share that faith with those who fear the loss called death. (Someday I’ll write a book…)

After so many funerals in a row, I finally got really tired. Through perfect timing, my annual family vacation on a Maine island was the retreat my human spirit needed. Add a good dose of family love and tons of sleep, and after three days here, I feel renewed, or as we say, more like a “hummin’ being.”

So. I went to sit in meditation, finally, with the intention of adding to the blog, and was surprised and delighted that the one who came to talk with me was my old friend the unicorn I call Ukiel. After a bit of chat, I asked for a message and s/he said: Yes, let’s. Then I got a sensation of being physically rubbed silky furry face to my face, then sensed a tail swishing about (not mine!) The following message, with its playfulness and child-like style, was a great antidote to taking my self too seriously(!)

S/he began to talk:

I am most wondrous – as are You!  My being roams the skies, the void, the dimensions with ease — as does yours, when free of the physical attachment.  Sometimes you ride on my head, very small, looking out between my ears, holding onto my horn, and sometimes you are on my back.  Sometimes I canter at your side, the size of a dog… it varies according to how we want to play.  I create rainbows with my thoughts and movement – streaks of prismatic color.

(Why doesn’t this feel like the normal channeling?)  It’s fine. It’s different. I do not need you to post it on the blog, do you? I am not trying to be famous — that would be you… (yeah…it’s a compensation for my lack of self-confidence, this desire for recognition and audience…)

“Am I enough?”  Of course!!!  I wear the exclamation point on my forehead!  I am brightly, irridescently, shimmeringly happy with who I am… and remember, as you are learning with your teachers and Mom & Dad [Mother/Father God] – we are not separate – I am another aspect of you – one that radiates freedom, beauty, energetic self-confidence… I do not own this quality, I freely share it with you. It is you who makes the distinction such as: Ukiel IS and I am Not this or that… We share this aspect of creation: we create together!  We are, and are again, and here again – we are also!  Creating and re-creating our expression of freedom, beauty – and – ah yes, service… For my role in the wheel of life is as healer, as life restorer.  Where darkness has overcome any energies, or parts of any energy – I bring my wholeness, my radiance.  And with my “wearable wand” – I touch and bring light/life back — and I do this with the utmost of love – gently, graciously, tenderly ~ and then romp off exuberantly into the next adventure.

You are my companion-being – we are a team – you bring your heart, your sight, your intellect and infuse the healing with human in-sight, the ability to SEE compassionately the experience of another – and therefore we perform as one – love as one – energize & strengthen & heal as one, en-whole, holistically merging intention. Each adventure deepens our pleasure in one another, one & another… “Another one” we say and hug and prance.  “One more”, “Once more” – en-wholing, restoring, rejoicing we go, blessed and blossoming – “blessem-ing” — All-ways, forever, and Now.  Go with Love ~ we are connected.
